HTC — RE, a remarkable little camera

The brief

Create an entirely new product category to help establish the company as a future leader in companion and “wearable” products.

Our response

We leveraged the growing trend for moms and dads to use GoPro cameras in a “non-pro” way, together with HTC’s pedigree in digital photography, to create a new product concept unlike anything seen before.

What we did

Product concept (from “back of a napkin” idea to new product line strategy). Design strategy. Internal pitch creation. User experience design. Product testing and feedback. Product communication design. Global branding and product marketing, including launch films and photography. We invented the brand “RE” and its slogan, “a remarkable little camera.”

SONY Mobile — Smartwear, from workshop to wrist

The brief

Provide design strategy and design concepts to support the global launch of a new “wearables” brand extension and product line.

Our response

Against a backdrop of wearable hype, we carefully considered the true value of Sony’s offering and help translate that to product proposition and communication design.

Create a film that tells the story of SONY Mobile’s strategy – Energized Communication.

We wanted to bring a human element to a technology story.

We filmed a group of young students creating a very SONY mural.
